these aren’t the only two options. it’s possible to be in a relationship without being lied to, cheated on, and disrespected. 

Beth, the point of this is the people in these awful relationships need to get out. They need to stop thinking “At least I have a boyfriend” and “At least I have a girlfriend” because they don’t have that. They have a shitty parasite sucking away their happiness. The point this guy is making is that people need to realize they can make them selves happier by getting rid of the people who make them miserable.

Of course these aren’t the only two options.

^Yes, exactly Katie. This is what I was getting at. Especially seeing as though I posted this right after I decided to officially make myself single by leaving someone who lied to, basically cheated on, and disrespected me. Being with someone like that is not worth it and does not ultimately make you happy. It’s better to be single.
